The Princess Barbie – she goes by many different names, but I feel it is important to have at least one Barbie who looks like a princess in a big, poofy princess ball gown. It’s the closest we’ll ever be to royalty.

The Car – Barbie needs to get around, and a fast car is the best choice. You can go for the cute car, or my personal favorite, the sports car. After all, the dream girl should have the dream car.

The House – Barbie’s dream house is the stuff of legends. Well, not really, but it is really fun. Move your Barbies around the house and be sure to stock up on the available furniture.

The Horse – Every girl needs a horse and Barbie is no exception. I only wonder why they left the Barbie Dream Stable off the Barbie Dream House!

Are You Too Old For Barbie Games?

Is there such a thing as being too old for Barbie games? I’m of the mind that there certainly is not. In fact, let me clue you in on how Barbie games are played at virtually any age.

The Toddler – Those with younger sisters know that Barbie dolls are fasinating to young children. They love to play with their hair and carry them around, usually by one leg.

The Child – As an elementary school child, you likely played with Barbie games in earnest. You had the accessories, the horses, the friends and all of the fun the Barbie games included. You spent hours getting the dolls dressed up for an imaginary wedding or date.

The Teen – While your old Barbies are put away, they are likely still in hiding somewhere since they are too precious to actually just give away to someone. Now you like online Barbie games as they get to test your creativity in new ways.

The Adult – No matter how old you are as an adult, you’ll have a chance to go back to your roots when you start your daughter off with Barbie dolls. Suddenly you find yourself combing Barbie’s hair again and digging around for a matching shoe to make her wedding outfit complete.

The Ultimate Barbie Game – The Full Makeover

I’ve had a random thought a time or two. One day when I get well and truly bored, I’m going to become Barbie. To do this, I’ll have to work with what I have, and what I have is simply not in the same class as the plastic doll we all know and love, but I’ll make do.

My first step will be to find adorable clothing complete with pink stiletto heels. Once I have my clothing, I’ll definitely need a blonde wig or perhaps a bottle of bleach. The hair must be big and immaculately styled. I can’t do much about my waist as it is a normal size, but I might wear a cincher to make it seems smaller and there is the not-so-small matter of chest size. A few tissues ought to do the trick.

I’ll apply my make-up, including my very complex eye makeup, don my wig and then get dressed. I haven’t actually decided what I’ll do with myself once I’m good to go, but maybe I’ll take a few pictures for a profile or two and then take a trip with friends to the mall or somewhere else where people congregate. I honestly just want to know how they will react to Barbie showing up in real life. I suspect it will be quite a reaction.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and stressed while getting Barbie dressed for a big night on the town with Ken? I seriously doubt it. Driving the Barbie Corvette to the Barbie Dream House is something that is always fun no matter how much other drama there is in your life right now.

Barbie Games Mend Fences
If you and your little sister just don’t get along or you have a cousin you can’t really connect with, sit down at the computer and play a few Barbie games online. It will give you common ground at least and a way to have fun together.

Barbie Games Let You Be Creative
Online or with your dolls, when you play Barbie games you’re using your creativity and imagination. You get to create outfits to go with whatever you deem is Barbie’s personality and style. What could be better than that?

Holiday Barbie Games

Barbie games are fun all year long, but there is something about Christmas that makes all girls Barbie lovers. I think it’s all of the boxes of Barbie dolls you see lining the shelves in stores – even in stores where you might not expect any dolls to be watching you.

The new Barbie in her box beckons you to buy her. Opening it up is like Christmas all over again and when you get her out of the box, you’ll be compelled to play with her outfit, her tiny shoes and her hair. Get her ready for imaginary parties and big dates with Ken – I hear they’re back together again. Then get your new Barbie settled down with your older dolls beside the computer while you boot up the many online Barbie games.

Branch out from the most obvious Barbie websites to see what options are available. You can dress up Barbie in hundreds of different outfits – most of which appropriate for any holiday gathering happening in cyberspace. But what I’m looking for is a special Holiday Barbie game. I’d love to be able to dress Barbie up in a mantle of red and white with green striped stockings. She’d become a Barbie elf, and that would be an awesome sight to see!

A Barbie Christmas Party

Want to throw a Christmas party, but don’t really know how to get started? Why not harken back to your youth and invite your friends over for a tea party – with their Barbie dolls! Every girl has a Barbie, and you can invite her to dig her out of a box in a closet, throw on her nicest clothing and then bring her along to your Christmas party.

If your friends don’t have their dolls around anymore, you can also provide them with new Barbies as the dolls aren’t super expensive and would make a fun holiday treat. The commemorative Holiday Barbie for 2008 is more expensive, but she might make a great hostess to the party at your side.

When your friends and Barbies arrive, do silly things like arranging a photo scavenger hunt. Your friends group up and each group heads out to find certain things. When they find it, they must take a picture with Barbie in each one. The group with the most creative pictures or whomever finds all of the items – wins!

You’ll want to have yummy food as well, and don’t forget about those dolls! You should make delicious treats in a large size for the big kids and you can sit the Barbies at a separate table with their little treats. Be sure you get plenty of pictures to laugh about later.
