Barbie Games Make Perfect Gifts

I’m waiting not very patiently to find a great sale on Barbie games. There have been so many sales lately featuring my favorite toys, but I haven’t managed to stumble on any of the Barbie games. I wish I would stumble on a great sale – my Christmas shopping would be just about finished in one fell swoop. After all, Barbie games make great gifts.

Who doesn’t love getting a new Barbie game under the Christmas tree or for a birthday present? Of course, I’m referring to all of my nieces and daughters of friends who fall under the age of seven or eight. For about five blessed years, you can shop the Barbie games and find just the right present every single time. It’s a great time to be shopping for girls, and as the girls get a bit older, I do lose a bit of confidence on what to buy. But in the meantime, I’m sticking with Barbie games

Barbie Games and Plastic Hair

I’ve heard the funniest stories lately about the hair on Barbie dolls. When you play Barbie games, one of the first things you’re likely to do is fix Barbie’s hair. After all, you can’t very well play Barbie games if your doll has hair in a perpetual rat’s nest. So you might use the special brush that comes with your Barbie games to comb and then style Barbie’s hair. While fun, many of us turn to more drastic measures to see Barbie’s hair in an improved condition.

Having once ruined an iron by trying to flatten Barbie’s hair, I wonder how many other girls have gummed up straighteners and other heat tools trying to give Barbie the smooth, shiny hair she deserves. Not only did I have to throw out the clothing iron when I tried that trick several years ago, I had to throw out the Barbie games, too – you can’t very well play with Barbie when her hair is a giant clog of plastic gunk. I’m sure I’m not alone in my adventures with Barbie’s hair, and it will be interesting to see how Barbie’s hair continues to fare over the years.

Barbie Games and Budgets

My sister recently imposed a new budget on us for Christmas presents. With the sour economy and the rather large number of cousins on that side of the family, we are now only allowed to buy presents for the cousins that fall in the $5 to $10 range. Normally I enjoy spending a bit more and finding something really fun for my nieces and nephews, but with this budget on my shopping, I’m going to be looking for great deals over the next few months.

My quest for cheap Barbie games is going to be the main point of my search. One of my nieces is getting to the age where she is clearly ready to start playing with Barbie games. The other niece is already enjoying Barbie games and will likely enjoy one of the more unusual career choices that Barbie games seem to have lately. Of course, since I’m on a budget here, I have to look around and find the dolls on sale. Fortunately, this is easily done – shopping is great fun, but finding an awesome deal on Barbie games is even better!

Barbie Games and Summer Fun

The summer months are the best time of the year to sit down and enjoy some Barbie games. The games are simple enough with the Barbie dolls you’ve always known and loved as well as all of the various accessories that go along with the dolls. For example, you might spend an entire week in the summer months going through your large collection of Barbie dolls and their various clothing items and then creating any number of new outfits and styles.

Put it all together and you might be able to set up a full Barbie games village out of dream houses, cars and horses. If you don’t have enough houses to make Barbie’s village complete, by all means make new houses using boxes and other creative ideas. The best games are the ones that require you to be a bit creative and to come up with creative uses of ideas and fun. Enjoy your Barbie games over the summer when you have days of time spread out ahead of you – it’s a true luxury that we should all enjoy.

The Variety of Barbie Games

I am so impressed lately with the sheer variety of the Barbie games. As I walk down the pink aisle in the toy store, I’m impressed that the Barbies are taking up almost the entire aisle again. Not too long ago they had to share the aisle with the young upstarts, the Bratz games. Now Barbie is spreading out again, and one of the main reasons seems to be that she has so many different dolls to pick from.

Barbie games have always included a variety, but it seems more than ever that there are dolls for every occasion. There are the princess dolls and the fashion icon dolls. There are also Barbie games for every profession under the sun and a rather wide variety of mermaid Barbies as well. If you look hard enough you can still find the butterfly Barbie games and even one or two basic Barbies that comes with a new outfit and some little tiny shoes.

Barbie Games and Summer

What better time to hang out in your air conditioned room and check out all of the treasures you’ve stored in your closet than the summer months? Now that it’s summer, it’s likely too hot to spend very much time outside and if you’re looking for quiet ideas to spend in your room, why not put in your ear buds and pull out the old case of Barbie games? You can dig through all of your old Barbies to see what sort of things you’ve acquired over the years and then simply forgotten.

If you have a younger sister or you babysit younger kids, you can pull out some of your favorite Barbie games to share with the younger generation. Even if you’re a teenager or an adult, playing with your old Barbie games is immensely satisfying. There is just something special about pulling on a new outfit or standing Barbie up next to Ken to check out how well they look together. Not only does it bring back the old memories of how you used to play, sitting down with your Barbie games also helps you relax and enjoy simpler times as well.

Barbie Games and Horses

I was surprised recently to find a Barbie game that included Barbie herself and a horse. The horse was amazingly similar to the Barbie horse that I played with when I was a child. It was actually my sister’s Barbie horse, but it was gratifying to see that some things just never change very much in the world of Barbie. In a world of constantly changing dynamics, at least some things have lasted the decades – Barbie’s horse.

If memory serves the horse we had to play with came all by itself. Back then, you bought the accessories on their own – they didn’t come with the Barbie dolls, too. Now though there are countless accessories and almost all of them seem to come with a new Barbie doll as well. The Barbie games that are available today might be similar to those that were available a few decades ago, but they are definitely still popular with the young girls of today. It might be old to me, but it’s all new and exciting for three-year-olds today.
